| Cherkasy , Ukraine |
We are currently discussing a student immersion program between two universities in Cherkasy and Iowa Western Community College. (projected project date Summer, 2009)
We are discussing the possibility of bringing a twelve-member choir to Iowa. (projected project date, Fall, 2008)
We hope to welcome an official delegation from Cherkasy in the Spring, 2007. |

In July, five to six individuals from Hebei will be staying in Iowa. They will be doing a few TV reports while they are here, including coverage of the presidential campaign. -Italian Chefs: We are planing a visit to Iowa by chefs from Padua, Italy. They will cook and teach at several events..

-Wine Festival: This is a project to bring representatives from Italian wineries to DSM's WineFest. We will also be having a Vicenza dinner at the Des Moines Embassy Club, please visit our homepage for more details.

| Yamanashi, Japan |
| -A student from Iowa will travel to Yamanashi in the fall of 2007 to attend college on a scholarship courtesy of the Yamanashi government. |
