ISS is getting ready to welcome a delegation from Yamanashi, Japan on August 11 and 12. Members of this delegation will include the Governor of Yamanashi, the Governor's Secretariat, two representatives from Yamanashi's Agricultural Division, three representatives from the International Division, a Professor from Yamanashi Gakuin University, seven Assembly members (Legislators), two Assembly staff, two high school teachers, and two high school students! In total, we will have 21 guests!

​A new round of New Beginnings will start on March 9, 2022. This year's focus is all about high school students and the impact they are having on topics ranging from biodiversity to health. These are dates and topics of the three spring sessions. 

March 9 - Topic: Biodiversity and waste 
March 23 - Topic: Global citizenship, civic participation
April 13 - Topic: Health and wellbeing

On March 9 students from the Lawton - Bronson High School of Lawton, IA  and The Istituto d'Istruzione Superiore G. B. Ferrari Polo Liceale of Este, Padova will share their experience.
