Kosovo is our fastest growing relationship. Citizens in all sectors are becoming involved, and you will find the perfect spot no whether your an adult or youth or whether your interest lies in business, education, agriculture, energy, or any other sector!

Youth

TOKA International Camp

If you're a high school student who is part of one of the cities with a sister city in Kosovo (Johnston, Fort Dodge, or Norwalk) you can be eligible to be chosen to take part in this international camp in Kosovo where students from all across the globe come to explore different cultures and experience amazing places. You can click here to learn more, but all students must be registered through their schools. Contact information is below. This year's camp is already full, but watch for registration to come in in the fall of 2018.

FFA Partnerships

Looking to brush up on your agricultural knowledge and skills and travel to another country? Then look into our FFA partnerships! A student must have an advising teacher. This pair will then be matched with a pair in Kosovo. You will be resposnible for conducting monthly conferences covering different agrictultral topics. Then in the fall you will have the opportunity to travel to meet your Kosovar pair in Kosovo. There you will attend high school for a couple days and see some sites around the country. They will also be able to travel to Iowa as well! Contact us if you want to learn more information.

Join an Upcoming Delegation

Joining a delegation to travel to Kosovo can be the best way to start your journey with Kosovo. We have had people from all backgrounds attend: teachers, lawyers, solar energy farmers, agricultural farmers, businessmen, retired adults, and  government leaders. Wherever you are in your life, if you have an interest in Kosovo, we want to help you become connected with the right people! Although we believe one of the best experiences to become involved is by traveling to Kosovo, so much can also be achieved from the comfort of your own home. Become a Host Family

As students and adults travel here from Kosovo, our hope is that they spend some time with host families. It is the best way to learn about our Iowan culture. We are always in need of people to become host families, so if you are thinking you may way to become one, fill out the form at the link here or contact our offices below. You and your family can choose which ages and times work best for you. They can range from three days to a school year.

Hawkeye Community College Study Abroad

if you're an agricultural educator or student who enjoys traveling and learning about foreign countries than this experience is perfect for you! Taking place in September 22 - 30, 2018, you can travel abroad to Kosovo in order to study at a local school and earn college credits. Click here to learn more and apply!
